Ducati 999

Awesome bike I saw during my visit to Bangkok's Siam Paragon (Same version as KLCC or Starhill In KL- Selling expensive sh*t). Imagine, u put a rocket engine into a bike, that's the feel while u're riding the bike... Some stat of the bike below...

999R - Superbike World ChampionThis is the link between standard production bikes and the racing world. With the best that technology can offer, it stands out thanks to even more advanced technical solutions, starting with a high performance big bore/short stroke Testastretta engine, producing even higher RPM limits and 139 Hp.The carbon fibre is the result of extensive wind tunnel testing and the exclusive nature of the motorcycle is reinforced by the limited edition numbered plate affixed to the fork yoke. The rear shock absorber and fork are by Öhlins, adjustable for pre-load, plus rebound and compression damping. The 43 millimetre diameter fork stanchions have undergone a titanium-nitride treatment for improved suspension response and the special front fork lowers allow the mounting of the radial callipers. The Brembo Marchesini wheels are made from an aluminium alloy that is forged in a process that is the same as used for the production of racing wheels, creating a wheel of higher torsional rigidity and lower weight. The Testastretta engine fitted in the 999R chassis is especially designed for track use and makes 139 HP at 10.000 RPM with 11 kgm of torque at 8.000 RPM. The 999R is delivered to the customer complete with a kit for track use only. It includes a Termignoni 102 Db exhaust, with horizontal rear half-manifold without catalytic converter and a dedicated electronic control unit, which reduces weight by three kilos (6.6 lbs.) while improving performance.

Crunchy Insects (Tit bits in Thailand)

Ever since the Fear Factor shown in AXN, I've wonder will I do it, will I got the balls to eat those stuff... Never cross my mind until I gotta chance to see it in Bangkok... U can easily spot a street hawker selling this crunchy stuff everywhere in Bangkok... When we stopped by the stall, we're looking among ourselves as in challenging who dares to eat it first... Then I suggested we buy a mixture of grasshoppers and silkworm cacoons for a taste, well we did bought it for only 2obaht(Less than RM2)... Then the hawker poured in some sesame oil and powdered pepper into it... So I grab the silkworm cacoons, to my suprise actually it taste not bad, the silk worm cacoon's texture like fried durian, crunchy outside but soft texture after u bite inside.. Than next is the grasshoppers, one word, YUMMY... U guys gotta try it when u come to Thailand...

Toyota Altis

First I impression when came out from Bangkok International Airport, wtf, Toyota everywhere... I was told that this two-toned taxi is a private taxi whereas mono-toned is rented one... U can go anywhere with taxi with a reasonable fare cost around 3000 baht=RM29.00 (4 person) from the airport which included toll fare... Here are some of the bizzare colour of taxi in Bangkok...

Happy B Day to The Thick Man

Instead of seafood, we ordered some non-seafood related dishes such as the tasty Pork Leg and the Fried Kailan which is fabulous...
The center photo is the legendary Thick Man... Happy birthday dude...

Seafood anyone?

On the 5th of May, I went to Pantai Seafood Restaurant near Kelana Jaya to celebrate the 27th birthday to the 'Thick Man'. All sorts of exotic seafood is available here from African Abalone to Snow Crab, Alaska King Crab and Australia Lobster. As you can see the price per pcs and per kilo clocked up from RM 20 over per kilo, so we didn't order the above mentioned animal ")
